On behalf of the BCKF we are pleased to host the 2026 BCKF Senior Taikai.

Minimum age 16 years and older (exceptions can be made for 15 years old juniors with advanced permission)

Facility opens: 8:00 am
Opening ceremony: 9:30 am
Closing Ceremony: 3:00 pm

Fees
Competitor entry: $35 (includes lunch)
(Free lunch for all non-competing volunteers and shinpan)

Men’s Individuals (Choose one category)
- Age 16 to 29 (0 Kyu to 3 Dan only)
- Age 30 and older (0 Kyu to 3 Dan)
- Age 16 and older (4 Dan and above)
Women’s Individuals (Choose one)
- Age 16 and older (0 Kyu to Sho Dan)
- Age 16 and older (2 Dan and higher)
Men’s Teams (5 man teams)
- Any age any rank
*Clubs may enter as many teams so long as a minimum of 3 members from your club are on one team
Women’s Teams (3 woman teams)
- Any rank any age
*Clubs may enter as many teams so long as a minimum of 2 members from your club are on one team
FREE AGENTS will be placed on teams so that everybody gets a chance to play on a team
Entries
Enter all participants and shinpan into the TAIKAI ENTRY spreadsheet. Ensure that each tab has been filled out to completion.
Once complete, submit entries electronically to daisuke.udagawa@gmail.com.
Entries and payment may be submitted no later than January 3, 2026.
If paying by check, please provide payment using a single check for the entire dojo payable to: BCKF

All entries are non-refundable once the entry and payment has been received.
Waivers
All participants or their legal guardian will be required to sign the attached LIABILITY WAIVER. Waivers may be turned in during the taikai check-in, through mail, or by email. Documents are attached to the invite email.
All BCKF members are required to sign the online BCKF waiver.
Participants without the required waivers will not be allowed to compete in the tournament.
